Dear Editor:
As a senior taxpaying resident of Jersey City, I would like to have someone, preferably the police, catch the people who tear down "Schundler for Governor" signs in all neighborhoods.
It makes no difference as to party affiliation. However, many Democrats, Independents, along with Republicans, should be able to display their choice for governor.
The hundreds or thousands of McGreevey signs are untouched, and if it is unlawful to post them on utility poles, they should be taken down by those who put them there in the first place.
This above all, no one should tear down signs on people’s property. This I am sure is against the law.
Action on these matters should be taken immediately.
