Dear Editor:
Leadership is a crucial quality in considering any candidate to government office, especially since September 11, 2001.
When approaching the New Jersey gubernatorial election from this perspective, Jim McGreevey pales in comparison to Bret Schundler. As Paul Mulshine said in his column of Thursday, Sept. 27 in The Star Ledger "….people start looking for strong, decisive leaders. These qualities are not essential in a governor, but as it happens Schundler is much better suited to the role of leader than McGreevey. McGreevey is your buddy, not your leader."
We hear so little from the McGreevey campaign about his accomplishments as Mayor of Woodbridge but we hear much about the revival which Bret Schundler brought about in Jersey City.
