Same old, same old, dual loyalties and double standards!

Dear Editor:

One of those clamoring loudest for Slobodon Milosovic to be tried as “war criminal” (for ethnic-cleansing in Kosovo) is Madeleine Albright, our most recent foreign-born Jewish Secretary of State, and architect of the decade-long genocidal trashing of Iraq. But not she, nor any of the others, has ever called for Ariel Sharon, P.M. of Israel, to be bound in shackles alongside Milosovic to await judgment in the Hague.

And why hasn’t she? The obvious: dual loyalties and double standards. So, instead of having to sweat for his life in the docket alongside the Serbian president, the fat Butcher of Beirut flies in style to Washington from time to time to demand tribute. There he bustles jovially through our Hallowed Halls of Congress (“in our hands,” kvells Ha’aretz, the Israeli newspaper), condescending to stoop and rub the bellies of our elected representatives who, at sight of their master, wag their eager little tails, roll over and pee all over themselves.
