Great turnout for church parade

Dear Editor:

This is an open letter for the citizens whom so lovingly showed their respect and appreciation for the work The Church of God of Prophecy is doing with our local youth and the community in general.

Bishop Mario Bonilla extends his gratitude to Lieutenant Fitzsimmons and the Hoboken Police Department for their prompt reactions to a situation at hand. It seems the HPD was not foretold of the time or date of the 8th annual parade, which consists of a march around Hoboken. Eventually our Hoboken’s finest showed up and led the procession with escorts.

Having done the march, the town was blessed by prayer from the congregation which boasts over 150 members in Hoboken. An outdoor service was held, and refreshments were served.

The Church of God of Prophesy has been in Hoboken for 22 years and at its present location, 319 Jackson Street for 13 of those years. Amen!

With such a great turnout, we can’t help but start planning for next year’s parade.

P.S. We would like to thank Elizabeth Bridal, Ristra Restaurant, Johnny Rockets, Willow Supermarket on 9th St., Vito’s Italian Deli and Benny Tudino’s for their support.
