Dear Editor:
I am an active and proud member of the Hudson County Democratic Organization and find it necessary to request that all good Democrats report to the polling places on June 26, 2001 and vote in this primary election.
It is vital that we stand behind Jim McGreevey for Governor and the entire listings of Democratic Senate and Assembly candidates in June and in November.
I must note that we have an excellent Register in Barbara Donnelly who has served us in that office for the past years. Ms. Donnelly is helpful and is an expert in the Register’s Office and is a community activist helping the senior residents and others in our county.
Our Sheriff Joseph Cassidy works long and hard to ensure that those criminals in our society are brought to justice. Sheriff Cassidy has saved the county taxpayers millions of dollars within the Program Operation Talon in conjunction with the County Welfare Department and U.S. Department of Agriculture. This Sheriff has been responsible for clearing over 5,000 open warrants involving those who fail to support their children and fulfill these obligations.
Let us come out on June 26 and vote the entire Democratic column, from top to bottom for the good of us in Hudson County.
