Dear Editor:
I went to a party last night, and what a party it was! “A Taste of Weehawken” held to benefit the Weehawken Free Public Library Multi-Media Center.
It was a food junkie’s dream come true. The many restaurants contributing offered truly wonderful food of all varieties. Their tables were beautifully decorated and their samples were generous. The only downside was that it just wasn’t possible to eat some of everything, though I sure tried.
There was music, the Weehawken High School and Jazz Band played valiantly and everyone present seemed to be having a very good time. And all in a good cause– we will have some new programs in our great new library.
Congratulations to everyone involved on a job well done, and a big thank you to all who contributed.
