I totally agree with JoAnne Steglitz (“Current View: Bridget Jones’s Diary,” April 19). Renee Zellweger was a completely inspired choice for Bridget Jones. And I thought the movie was terrific. – Vera, Hoboken
Actually, Anthony Lane referred to the casting of Renee Zellweger as “inspired.” JoAnne Steglitz wrote, “Zellweger, it turns out, is the perfect embodiment of the title character of Helen Fielding’s best-selling novel.”
