Dear Editor:
Please allow me to publicly thank Assemblyman Anthony Impreveduto and Secaucus Mayor Dennis Elwell for the rolls they played in my recent induction to the “Elected Officials Hall of Fame.” This is an honor that I am very grateful for.
A resolution sponsored by Assemblyman Impreveduto acknowledging my induction and my 28 year tenure as mayor of Secaucus was presented to me at the January 24th annual Mayor’s Day of The New Jersey State League of Municipalities held at the State House in Trenton.
Secaucus Mayor Dennis Elwell had submitted my name to the league whose President Alfred Bridges of Ewing conducted the day’s agenda and welcomed me into their Hall of Fame. I am very grateful that Mayor Elwell nominated me and also pleased that he and Town Administrator Anthony Iacono stopped by during the induction proceedings.
My thanks also to DPW Superintendent Michael Gonnelli for arranging transportation for my wife Jean and myself.
