Dear Editor:
Everyone at the Bon Secours New Jersey Health System is grateful to the members of the Hoboken Volunteer Ambulance Corps for their extraordinary assistance to us during the snowstorm that occurred during the last weekend of 2000. Not only did the Volunteers bring patients to St. Mary Hospital, they also helped nurses and other employees reach the hospital so they could serve the patients. The Volunteers are truly “good neighbors” and deserve commendations from the entire community.
We are very grateful to them.
Robert S. Chaloner
CEO, Bon Secours New Jersey Health System
