Dear Editor:
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Commissioner Leggiero and his family for providing our town, in loving memory of their devout and devoted parents, with a beautiful Nativity scene that reminds us all of the true meaning of the season. Too often lost behind the brash commercialism and manic materialism of a consumer society, our Savior’s birth is relegated to second tier status in our minds and hearts.
On behalf of Union City, I would like to wish our new mayor and our able commissioners a very, very blessed Christmas and warm, wonderful, worshipful New Year.
