Dear Editor:
Hoboken really is the jewel of the Hudson. And we should all be very thankful for the efforts of Mayor Anthony Russo in creating a city with open space and waterfront access for the first time since the 19th Century.
I was so happy to learn of the mayor’s plans for a new park at Pier C, which has been collapsed in the Hudson River since 1993. Pier C park will be a place for “active” recreation, such as jogging, tennis, ice skating in the winter, kayaking and much more. And I was especially happy to see that the mayor’s plan includes a swimming pool for our residents.
In addition to the Pier C park, it was also a pleasure to learn that Castle Point Park will soon begin construction too.
Hoboken is the best city in New Jersey and Mayor Russo keeps making it better and better. Keep up the good work.
