Giving thanks

Dear Neighbor:

At this time of Thanksgiving, to be followed by a wonderful season, let us reflect on what we have received this year.

Let’s be thankful for the blessings of health, for the company of those around us who we love, and for the joy of being neighbors in such a wonderful community.

Personally, I’m especially thankful for having overcome my cancer at this point. I now have time to spend with my family and my new granddaughter, Jenna Rae Russo, and the strength to continue working on your behalf to make Hoboken an even better place to live, work and raise a family .

I’m so happy to tell you that it was you, and your good wishes, prayers and thoughts that contributed to my health and success. And, I want to thank you so very much for all your support in government and in my personal life.

With all of my heart, I thank you! So, as we look forward, let us all work together for an even better Hoboken for our children, our families, our friends and ourselves.

Happy Thanksgiving,
Mayor Anthony Russo
