Dear Editor:
Saturday, September 16, 2000, Applied Housing held its annual block party for all tenants of Applied Housing. As usual, it was a great success. This annual event is planned and run by the staff of Applied Housing and requires a lot of hard work. However, we find that it is worth it because it provides a chance for the tenants and the staff to interact on a social and nonprofessional level. I am very grateful for the staff of Applied Housing, including its superintendents for their hard work to ensure the success of this party.
I would like to especially thank the City of Hoboken for giving us the permission to close the street, the members of the City of Hoboken Administration and Chief Carmen LaBruno for supplying several police officers to provide safety and security.
