Dear Editor: Why would you want to turn back the clock and stop the canoes on the Hackensack River? For the first time in years the river is being reclaimed from years of abuse and being used for recreational purposes. Let’s support the good work of people like Captain Bill Sheehan, the Hackensack Riverkeeper and support the canoe project. All of the citizens of the region benefit.
