Dear Editor: I was very saddened to pick up a newspaper today, May 15, to read a story on the front cover with the headline, “Penn State quarterback charged with beating cop.” My heart and well wishes go out to the victim, Police Officer Patrick Fitzsimmons and his entire family. I am so sad to hear this had to happen to such a good cop who always shows respect, integrity and politeness towards the people in his community where he serves.
