Lackawanna Plaza needs some TLC!

Dear Editor: I’m not a Hoboken resident, but I work here. So I’ve been curious as to why the city of Hoboken has allowed the beautiful Lackwanna Plaza area to become overgrown with weeds, dying trees and not even having the fountain working. Could it be because of the newer, larger area that has been built adjacent to it on the old P.A pier? It’s sinful to allow what was a beautiful oasis of peace, to fall prey to such neglect and to be at the whim of the homeless. They can be seen on any given morning, camping there. Brian D. McNerney
