Dear Editor: I have written to your paper before about the upcoming march on Washington called the Million-Mom March. The march is being held to demonstrate our concern for the need for more stringent gun control in this country. The march will be on Sunday, May 14, 2000, Mother’s Day and we are hoping to bring a bus of Hoboken area supporters. The march is an important event that we know will bring the crucial issue of gun control to the attention of our legislators. I have received a letter from our NJ coordinator Debra Watchpress that beautifully expresses the intent of the march. I would ask that you print it as a way to make area resident aware of the need to demonstrate a need for stricter gun control.
