Dear Editor: I want to say God Bless you, Mr. Ed Shirak, for the wonderful museum you did for Frank Sinatra. It is an honor to Frank and to all the people of Hoboken. We love and respect you for it. You have a heart of gold and it’s a shame what the Sinatra family has said. It’s sour grapes with them because they were supposed to open a museum and never did. It’s pure jealousy because you beat them to the punch and that’s why they are mad. We the people of Hoboken have more to say than them. It is our town and Frank was born here in Hoboken and we’re keeping his memory alive. The Sinatra family should come to their senses and let the town honor their father; after all, Frank put Hoboken on the map and we respect him for that. You have great love for Frank Sinatra and so do I. I am 84 years old and always admired him. I have all his recordings and play them all the time; it makes me feel like he is still alive. Mr. Shirak, you are a fine citizen and I would like to see you be mayor of this town some day. You have a love and respect for people and we are all for that. Don’t let people bother you, we are all behind you. Once more, I will say God Bless you Mr. Shirak for our museum. Frank Sinatra is smiling down on you from heaven. Jennie DeSomma P.S.
