A funeral service took place Dec. 16 for Lorraine Bennett of Jersey City. She died peacefully on Dec. 9. Lorraine was born and raised in Jersey City, had the opportunity to live in several regions of the U.S. and abroad in Germany. Lorraine was predeceased by her husband Frank Bennett. Surviving are her children, Dianne Kline, Wayne Ilderton, Walter Wilczewski, Barbara Steele, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren and her sisters, Jean A. Murphy, Patricia Kelley, and Bernice Caruso.
