JERSEY CITY — A large water main break in Jersey City has closed down operations of the Hudson Bergen Light Rail between Exchange Place and Marin Boulevard, city officials said. People who take transportation to Exchange Place can get out and walk to Marin.
A 12-inch main broke around 4 a.m. on Dec. 13 near Washington and Essex streets, affecting the area of Grand and Dudley streets as well.
Suez Water said the company is working aggressively to restore water pressure to normal.
