It was a dark and stormy night…

The rains came steadily during the last week of November, sticking fall leaves to the streets like little suckerfish. The town took on a wet and mysterious look. Beyond the lamps in the windows, was someone pounding away at a novel? Solving a mystery? Pictured are the blocks east of Park Avenue, and then flooding two days later near the Weehawken/Hoboken border when a water main broke on the Hoboken side. Photos by Caren Matzner.

Did you take a photo of something interesting in town? Email with “Weehawken” in the subject head to editorial@hudsonreporter.com. Make sure the photos are in color, high-res, and attached as .jpgs (not embedded). Attach only one to three photos per email.
