96, of Bayonne, passed away on November 25, 2016 at his home with his family at his side. Joseph was proud to be born in Bayonne and resided there for his entire life. He worked for Maxwell House in Hoboken for 27 years. He previously worked for Exxon and Western Electric. A World War II Army Veteran, he was a member of the F.A. Mackenzie Post. He was also a member of Ss. Peter and Paul R.O. Church and the Russian Carpathian Club. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Kathryn “Kay;” his daughters, Kathy Weiss (John), Joyce Jacobson, Diane Okaly and Lynn Campbell (Kevin); and his grandchildren, Nicole, Shannon, Andrew, and Megan Collins, Gary and Laura Bogdanski, Joseph, Lauryn and Kristen Okaly, and Kathryn, Tracy, Allison and Kelly Campbell. He was a great grandfather of nine. He was predeceased by his daughter, Judy and his siblings, Peter, Ann and Mary. A special thank you to Dr. Ira Brooks, Dr. Blumberg, St. Barnabas Hospice and all the caretakers who took such great care of Joe.
