32 points by Cifuentes as Chargers roll again

At (7-0) the Chargers have been a dominant force in every one of their JCC of Bayonne Sr Division Indoor Flag Football match ups. For the (0-6) Eagles, it’s been tough sledding all year with a sluggish offense and a mistake prone defense keeping them out of the win column. The game started with both squads getting out to fast starts as the Chargers’ Aaliyana Cifuentes pulled in a 20 yard TD toss and Kyle Arano snared a two point pass followed by the Eagles’ Drew Radil tying the bout at 8-8 with a TD and two point catch. The Eagles’ optimistic start soon took a turn for the worse as the Chargers surged to a 28-8 advantage as Aaliyana Cifuentes (1 TD), Alejandro Cifuentes (2 TDs), and Anthony Fraser (2expt) set the pace. Searching for answers on offense, the Eagles’ Mariam Rasslan turned a short pass into six points to make it 28-14, Chargers. The next twenty minutes, however, once again belonged to the Chargers as Kyle Arano (1 TD), Alejandro Cifuentes (3TDs, 2 expts), Aaliyana Cifuentes (2 expts), Anthony Fraser (2 expts), and Chris Caballero (2 expts) put the finishing touches on a 60-14 victory. Inspite of the lopsided outcome, the Eagles’ showed some signs of a turn around as Ezekiel Lupianez, David Matos, and Jack Kruchkowski combined for 18 receptions.
