To the Editor:
My husband, Anthony Sienkiewicz, recently had his patriotic paintings included in the Field of Heroes tribute at Bayonne High School and displayed at the American Pride show at the Bayonne Museum during Veterans Day week. He was truly honored to be a part of both these events. He is very passionate about the stories his paintings tell and the sacrifices and heroism of our American veterans.
First, a heartfelt thanks to Mayor Jimmy Davis, Deb and Lou at Bohoyoga, Peter Amedeo, Andrew Casais, Gary Chmielewski and his DPW crew, and Joe Ryan for making the American Pride show happen.
Thank you to Dr. McGeegan and Dr. Degnan of the Bayonne Board of Education for including his art in the Field of Heroes event.
Thank you to John Zmyslowski and the veterans groups for graciously allowing his work to be part of their Veterans Day ceremony.
Thank you to the editors of the Jersey Journal, the Bayonne Community News and HudsonTV.com for their coverage of the show.
Thank you to the Bayonne teachers and their students who attended the show at the museum.
And last, a tremendous thank you to Catherine Macchi of the Hudson County Office on Aging. None of this would have happened without her initial encouragement and support.
God Bless America and its veterans.
