56, of Bayonne, passed away on November 7, 2016. Born in Paterson, NJ, James was a dog lover and trainer of German Shepherds and was an avid member of A.A. and N.A. James was the son to Rose Marie (nee: Lindberg) and the late Abraham Van Mitchell. James was also the father to Kaylee Mitchell and Nicole Butler and Michael Van Mitchell, as well as being grandfather to Michael James and Cecelia Rose Mitchell and Tiffany Brown. James was pre-deceased by his brother-in-law Sam Fadil and surviving him are his sisters Valerie Mitchell Fadil and Robin Haddad and her husband Mark, brother Van John Mitchell and James’ former wife Regina Mitchell, as well as a host of other family members and friends.
