“Nick,” 72, of Bayonne, passed away on October 13, 2016. Born in Litmanova, Slovakia, the son of the late Mikulas and Maria Vira, Nick was a resident of Bayonne for the past 20 years and worked as a Building Super in New York City for many years before retiring. He was the husband to Anna (nee: Porada) and the father to Monica Vira and her late husband David Valle II, Maria Vira and her fiance Michael Visone and Diana Grogan and her husband Gerard. Nick was also the grandfather to Adilynn Harper Grogan. Nick was predeceased by his brothers, John and Andrej Vira and surviving him are Andrej’s wife Olga Vira, his step-mother Maria Vira, his four brothers Vasil Vira and his wife, Anna, Michal Vira and his wife, Maria, Ludovit Vira and his wife, Zdena, Milan Vira and his wife, Katarina; two sisters, Madga Marticek and her husband, Imro and Anna Rusinak and her husband, John, as well as a host of other family members and friends.
