JERSEY CITY — Citing a willingness to listen and a unique grasp of issues facing New Jersey, State Senator Sandra Cunningham has endorsed Phil Murphy for governor.
“I have known Phil Murphy for close to 20 years,” Cunningham said. “I had the privilege of meeting Phil at his home with my late husband, Glenn Cunningham. in 2003.”
Cunningham said Phil Murphy has a laser focus on two issues close to her heart, curbing gun violence and making college affordable.
“I know Phil Murphy will not run away from the tough issues facing our state. Quite the contrary, I believe Phil will rush to address the toughest issues facing New Jersey,” Cunningham added.
“That’s why I am proud to add my name to the long list of public officials endorsing Phil Murphy for Governor. “
