A funeral mass was held Sept. 27 at Our Lady of Mercy Church, Jersey City, for Judith Gousman, a lifelong Jersey City resident. She died Sept. 23. She worked 44 years as an administrative clerk for Jersey City Municipal Court, excelling to supervisor. Judy will be remembered fondly by her colleagues. She was a member of the Rosarians at Our Lady of Mercy Church and the Jersey City Supervisors Association. She was the daughter of the late Sophie Lord Gousman and Gerard Gousman; sister of Gerard Gousman and his wife Wendy; aunt of John, Scott, Sara and the late Adam Gousman; grand-aunt of Audrick, Nadia, Sophia and Lanaya.
