Funeral mass was held Sept. 24 at St. Joseph’s of the Palisades in West New York on for Jaime J. Cardona, 80, of West New York. He passed away Sept. 20. He was a dedicated school bus driver with the West New York Board of Education. He was the son of the late Jaime and Milagros Cardona. He was the husband of Laudelina Cardona; father of his two daughters Maria Ilem Cardona and Maria Ivette Cardona-Pereira; father-in-law of Luis Gonzalez and Alexander Pereira; grandfather of his five grandchildren Ileana Pereira, Christian Gonzalez, Alexander Pereira, Arelissa Gonzalez and Anthony Pereira; brother of Amparo Illa; uncle to his nieces and nephews.
