96, a longtime resident of Bayonne, passed away on September 24, 2016, at St. Ann’s Home in Jersey City. Born and raised in New Albany, Indiana to the late Anna and Edward Rouck, Dorothy moved to Bayonne in 1946 when she married Philip Gagliardo. She was a parishioner of St. Henry Church, a member of the St. Henry Rosary Society and Senior Group. She was a longtime volunteer for the Bayonne Hospital Women’s Auxiliary. Mrs. Gagliardo was also predeceased by her husband, Philip, her daughter Mary Ellen “Meg” Scott, and her brother Edward Rouck. She is survived by her niece Rosemary (Gagliardo) Scott, and nephew Michael A. Scott, William and Daniel Gagliardo, Anne (Gagliardo) Henfey, Richard Rouck, Phyllis Ehalt, Rosemary Spray, Katherine Zahnd and other nieces, nephews, grand and great grand nieces and nephews.
