75, of Bayonne passed away on May 24 at the Bayonne Medical Center. Robert worked as a Fireman for the City of Bayonne for 28 years before retiring. Robert was a husband to Elizabeth (nee: Matthes), a father to Jeffrey (Cindy), Debbie, Barbara Michalski (Keith), Melissa Colletto (Matthew), Carol Grusz (Peter). A grandfather to Hayley, Samantha, Lillian, Jonathan, Michael, Jenny, Aiden, Joey, Katie, and Anthony. A brother to Tommy Occimio and his wife Maria, and Linda Mark and her husband the late Snaps. Robert was also predeceased by his parents Robert and Ellen (nee: McCurley) Occimio. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Robert’s memory to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
