PURCELL, FRANK

A mass of Christian burial was celebrated May 11 at Immaculate Conception Church, Secaucus, for Frank Purcell, 82. He passed away peacefully May 7 at Care One at Oradell. Born and raised in Jersey City, he lived in Secaucus for the past 30 years. He attended Stevens Academy in Hoboken, graduating in 1952. After high school he attended Stevens Institute in Hoboken, graduating in 1956 with a degree in mechanical engineering. After working as a mechanical engineer for 10 years he returned to Seton Hall University where he received his law degree. He practiced law for 30 years in the Hudson County area. Frank was an avid reader and had a great sense of humor. He is survived by his wife Barbara of 42 years; a son Frank Purcell of Secaucus; a daughter Mary Purcell of Hamburg; and a granddaughter Adriana. Services arranged by the Mack Memorial Home, Secaucus.
