97, a lifelong resident of Bayonne, passed away on May 9, 2016. In her earlier years, Stella worked at Western Electric in Kearny and Dixon Pencil Company in Jersey City. Stella was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Benedict who passed away in 2005; siblings Zygmund Zajac, Private First Class Marion Zajac, Loretta Zaborowski and Ann Czajkowski. Stella is survived by her children, Carol Kochanski & her husband Joe and Gary P. Hadyka & his wife Lorraine; grandchildren: Kerri Dunleavy & her husband Jim, Jennifer Minervino & her husband Rob, Jill Coppola & her husband Mike and First Class Petty Officer, Lucas Hadyka of the United States Navy; great-grandchildren Jack, Casey and Christopher Dunleavy, Isabella and Alexander Coppola. Stella is also survived by her long time dedicated caregiver, Linda Otoadese, without whom Stella would not have had the quality of life that she did.
