88, of Bayonne, passed away on May 9 at the Atrium Rehabilitation Center in Wayne. Eileen proudly worked as a desk attendant in the recreation center in St. Peter’s University, Jersey City for 27 years before retiring. Eileen was a wife to the late Frank W. Mother to William and his wife Mary Ann, Maryanne Lazzara, Annette DiCorcia and Robert and his partner Joe Riordan. Grandmother to ten grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Sister-in-law to Doris DiCorcia, and a friend to Dorothy Hastings. Eileen was also predeceased by her parents Paul and Ellen “Nellie” (nee: Kachler) Thuring, and her siblings Paul, Joseph, Edward Thuring and Catherine Burke. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Eileen’s memory to The St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Envelopes are provided at the funeral home.
