Unstoppable Arias drills in eleven goals for Dragons

Turning into the home stretch of their 2016 JCC of Bayonne Jr Division indoor soccer schedule, the (4-1) Wizards looked to lock up the top spot in this year’s “Championship Tournament” with two week five victories. Going toe to toe for twenty minutes, the Wizards and the (3-2) Dragons traded scores as the two squads battled to a 4-4 deadlock with the Dragons’ Thomas Arias netting all four goals with Joyce Gabrael (2 assists), Amy Gabrael (1 assist), and Anthony Baez (1 assist) assisting while the Wizards shared the scoring duties as William Hulsman (1 goal), Dylan Subacz (1 goal), and Adonis White (2 goals) hit their mark with Tony Rivada notching two assists. Needing a knockout punch, the Dragons’ Thomas Arias delivered by blasting in 4 more goals off assists by Joyce Gabrael (2), Amy Gabrael (1), and Brenden McCall (1) to put the Dragons up 8-4. After sleep walking for almost 10 minutes, the Wizards’ offense finally woke up just long enough to make it 8-6 as Dylan Subacz booted in two goals off assists by Adonis White and Gage Orlowski. Not fazed by the Wizards outburst, the Dragons went on another scoring blitz as Arias torched the net for three more goals for eleven on the day as the Dragons captured an 11-6 victory.
