98, passed away at St. Ann’s Home for the Aged on April 22, 2016. Born in Bayonne, she was a resident for all of her life. She worked as a telephone operator and for Bayonne Hospital. Mrs. Hromnak was predeceased by her husband, Andrew F., in 1962, and her parents, George and Anna (nee: Adams) Mitro. She was also predeceased by her daughter, Mary Patricia Brady, on April 13, 2011; and her siblings, John, George, Joseph, Andrew and Thomas (Anthony) Mitro. She is survived by her children, Dolores Kelly (Jerry), Frances Maratta (Sam), and Carol Hromnak; her eight grandchildren, Kathleen Roegner, Kelly Gallagher, Lucille Brady, Patricia Brown, Charles P. Brady, Dawn Maratta-Kielb (David), Michelle Maratta (Austin), and Jaime Serrano (Riky); her 17 great grandchildren; and her three great-great grandchildren. Mary’s family wishes to thank Dr. Ira Brooks and Mary’s St. Ann’s family for the wonderful care she received over the past year.
