76, passed away on April 20, 2016, at St. Ann’s Home for the Aged. Barbara was born in Bayonne and has resided there all her life. She was a graduate of Bayonne Hospital School of Nursing, where she received her R.N., and graduated with honors from Saint Peter’s College, where she received her B.S.N. Barbara started her nursing career at Bayonne Hospital, then, went on to work for the MOTBY, then, was the Plant Nurse for Best Foods, and finished her career as the Nurse Case Manager for the Jersey City Board of Education. Wife of Eugene J. “Gene” Gallagher. Mother of Eugene J. “EJ” Gallagher, Jr. and his wife Tammy, Marian Elise Trotola and her husband Frank, and Kevin Gallagher. Grandmother of Sedona Gallagher.
