She retired from AT&T Technologies in Berkeley Heights and previously worked for Western Electric in New York City. She was predeceased by her parents, Stella (nee: Gesek) and Michael Slagus and her brother, Raymond. She is survived by her sister, Lorraine and her brother, Lawrence Slagus.
