77, passed away at home on April 7, 2016. She was born in Jersey City and was a lifelong resident of Bayonne. Years ago Joan worked for the Faberge’ Company as a sales coordinator. Later, she was the office manager for the Nicaretta Construction Company of Bayonne until her retirement. She was a member of the Concerned Citizens of Bayonne and the Avenue B Senior Citizens Center where she participated in many senior activities. Joan was predeceased by her husband John “Butch” Lapinski, her parents John and Stella Wodecki and her sister Eleanor Shablewski. Mother of Jo Ann Phillips and Janet Bollhardt. Grandmother of Lenny Bollhardt and his wife Victoria, Lauren Phillips and her fiance’ Chris Della Serra, Stephen Phillips and his companion Megan Reinhardsen and Samantha Anderson and her fiancé Joshua Payne.
