66, of Bayonne, died with his family at his bedside on March 14 after a brief illness. He was the son of Paul J. Gladis Sr. and the late Pauline Gladis (nee: Lasky), and stepson of Helene Gladis. Born in Bayonne and a former resident of Colts Neck, NJ, Paul was a long time employee of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and was a survivor of the September 11 attack. He leaves behind two daughters, Sara Pettee (Brian) and Rachel Gladis; three grandchildren, Vyctoria, Bella, and Henry; four sisters, Mary Ellen O’Keefe (Merlyn), Susan Gleeson (John), Madeline Alexander (Robert), Kathy Shannon (Timmy); and eight nieces and nephews.
