62, of Bayonne, passed away on February 29 with her husband, Michael, at her side. She was a resident of Bayonne for the past 34 years. She taught high school English in North Bergen and later on was a substitute teacher for the Bayonne board of education. She then went on to become a realtor with the McGeehan and Panerio Realtors in Bayonne. She was an associate member of the Viet Nam Veterans Bayonne Chapter 151 and then Bergen County Chapter 800. Catherine was the wife of 34 years to Michael E. Sapara; daughter of the late Arthur & Catherine (nee: Hilken) Steffens; and also survived by several cousins.
