74, of Bayonne, entered into eternal life on February 25, 2016, at Bayonne Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Born in Mendez Cavite, Philippines, Pamfilo immigrated to the United States in 1967 where he lived in Jersey City for many years. He later resided in both Bayonne and the Philippines. Pamfilo served his country proudly in the United States Navy as a Career Serviceman. After his retirement he served as a Merchant Marine for 5 years. He was predeceased by his parents Marciano and Maria (nee: Aure) Alegre and his brothers and sisters, all from the Philippines. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 48 years, Norma (nee: Maraan) Alegre; three sons, Mark Alegre and his wife Rheila; Carlos Alegre and his fiancee’ Katrina Joy Gula and Allen Alegre and his wife Myleen; and his grandchildren, Alyssa, Denise, Patricia Lorisse, Anthony Matthew, Christopher Kyle and Brandon Patrick.
