86, passed away on January 6, 2016 at Bayonne Medical Center with her family by her side. Born in Bayonne, she was a lifelong resident. A graduate of Essex County Community College, Mrs. Pitlick was a registered nurse, working as a private duty nurse and a staff nurse at Bayonne Hospital, as well as for the Bayonne Visiting Nurses’ Association. Mrs. Pitlick was a member of the Young at Heart Club, the Red Hatters, the Prime of Life Seniors, the Bayonne Historical Society and the Concerned Citizens of Bayonne. Mrs. Pitlick was predeceased by her husbands, James Mellish and Theodore Pitlick. She is survived by her children, James Mellish (Linda), Richard Mellish (Arlene), and Michele Leahey (Michael); her grandchildren, Michael and Lindsay Leahey and Ryan and Casey Mellish; and her siblings, Richard Nugent and Mary Butler.
