Funeral services were held Jan. 7 for Catherine Degrigoli, 95, of Naples, Fla., formerly of Union City. She passed Jan. 1 in Florida. Born in Union City, she was a retired garment industry worker and served her country as a “Rosie the Riveter” during WWII. Known to family and friends in New Jersey as “Lilly”, Catherine was predeceased by her husband, Salvatore N. Degrigoli. She was the mother of Robert Degrigoli, Cathy Michaels and Vito Degrigoli; she is also survived by six grandchildren and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Services arranged by the Vainieri Funeral Home, North Bergen.
