A funeral service was held Jan. 4 at the Perinchief Chapels, Mount Holly, for Robert Christopher Conwell, 57. He passed away Dec. 27. Born in Jersey City, Robert was a longtime Jersey City and East Orange area resident. He was an over the road truck driver and loved the time he spent driving. Robert also had a great appreciation for the ocean. Robert was predeceased by Jack and Harriette Conwell and brother Charles Conwell. He is survived by his only son Robert who is currently serving in the United States Navy; his grandson Julion Conwell; his six brothers and sisters, Larry, Helen, Ruth, Anthony, Don, and Mike; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was a father to Javon Perez. Services arranged by the Perinchief Chapels, Mount Holly.
