JURGENSEN, WERNER

86, of the Holiday City Heights section of Berkeley Twp. passed away on December 20, 2015 at his home. Born in Utersum/Fohr, Germany, he came to the United States in 1951 and lived in Bayonne for many years before moving to Berkeley Twp. in 1995. He and his wife Mary spent many winters in Davenport, FL. They were also co-owners of the Globe Delicatessen in Bayonne for over 30 years until retiring in 1985. Werner was a veteran of the US Army. Werner was predeceased by his parents and four siblings. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Mary Dethlefsen Jurgensen; two sons, John and his wife Diane Jurgensen of Barnegat and Bill and his wife Aida Jurgensen; a daughter Janet and her husband Joseph Kalinowski III of Mercerville; and is also survived by twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
