To the Editor:
Congratulations to former counselee and past colleagues on being elected, yes, elected, to the Board of Education. I hope for the following:
First, please support students, who are the foundation of society. Negativity only stifles achievements.
Second, please support teachers, who are an integral part of the learning process. If education is power; a teacher is the energizer.
Third, please support parents who have vital concerns for their children. Students first is a priority.
Fourth, please support society; we must relate to each other in a large, urban, and diverse setting. Bayonne will thrive in such an environment.
Last, please support other members of the BOE, who must avoid a label of pro Doria/ Smith/ Davis. Partisanship is out.
