The funeral liturgy was celebrated Oct. 24 at Saint Peters Church, Point Pleasant Beach, for John “Jack” Doyle, 93, of Point Pleasant. He passed away Oct. 20 surrounded by his family. Born and raised in Greenville, he relocated to the Jersey Shore to be close to his family a few years ago. Jack, husband of the late Margaret (Margie) nee Lauten, is survived by his son, Jack and his wife Cindy; daughters , Kathy Doyle and Margaret Mary (Maggie); sister-in-law, Joan Lauten; along with his grandchildren, Kimberly Doyle, Meghan Zabelski, Madison Ranges,; many nieces and nephews; and the many friends who called him “Uncle Jack.”
He was the brother of the late Bernard, Audrey Chiorazzi, and Carolyn Byrnes. Jack especially loved family gatherings, Monmouth and Meadowlands Racetracks. He particularly enjoyed singalongs and would be the first to offer a solo. Services arranged by the Pable Evertz Funeral Home, Point Pleasant.
