Jersey City Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a stolen German Shepherd who was taken from her front yard on Emerson Avenue Monday, Oct. 19, at around noon. Police were notified later in the day and were able to arrest two men who had stolen the dog. However, one of the men released the dog into the street prior to the arrival of police at his house. The dog was released in the area of Johnston and Pacific Avenues late last night and has been spotted in the area. According to Councilwoman Candice Osborne, the dog was last spotted near the Pathmark shopping mall near Pacific Avenue.
