HOBOKEN – Hoboken Mayor Dawn Zimmer hosted a fundraiser Tuesday, Oct. 6 at Arthur’s Tavern in Hoboken for the City Council candidates she plans on supporting in the upcoming Nov. 3 elections. Those candidates include Jen Giattino, Peter Cunningham, Michael DeFusco, Tiffanie Fisher, and Dana Wefer.
“I’m really really excited. [The candidates] have been working really hard…We’ve been knocking on doors every day and really getting a great response,” Zimmer said during the fundraiser.
Among those attending were Jersey City Mayor Steve Fulop and former State Senate Majority Leader Bernie Kenny, who lives in Hoboken.
